Edition: Summary: Whoa!I'm not sure what they were thinking when they made this game.Very strange is an understatement!You play as a 40ish looking guy with blonde hair,yellow outfit and shades who wants to clean up the mean city streets.Oddly enough,the mean streets aren't overun with gun toteing hoodlums or knife weilding punks,
but instead circus midgets and gorillas that throw bananas at you!Deadly,deadly bananas....

As for the "hero" of this game,check out his close up during the title screen.He looks Boomhauer from King of the Hill!I am not exaggerating!Check it out!Trippiest thing ever.

While it is weird,and well pretty dumb,the gameplay itself isn't horrible.Actually for a quick 8-bit beat 'em up scroller it's kinda fun.The humor is pretty good at parts too.Seeing him slam the bull dogs on the ground and saying "good boy",or the popular sayings at the start of each level."Never trouble trouble unless trouble troubles you" or "The race is not always to the swiftest nor the fight to the strongest--- but that's the way to bet."

What makes this game more playable than alot of other borderline bad games was it's music.Kind of a fast bluesy feel to it.Makes punchin' out those darn midgets who have the miraculous ability to fly by swinging a ball and chain much easier.

I believe Tech TV gave this the ranking of 10th worst video game ever made.I don't think it's that bad;I would give that title to nes games like Hydlide,Deadly Towers or Spelunker.

This is worth paying about 4 or five dollars for.

Don't be fooled, however, this isn't a traditional role-playing game, but rather a fun, wall-to-wall action hack 'n' slash adventure in the mold carved by "Gauntlet" and "Diablo"--one that nonetheless conforms to the Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition rule set.
"Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance" casts you as one of three basic characters: an elf sorceress, a human archer, or a dwarf fighter. From there, you're set free inside a huge Dungeons & Dragons world replete with dungeons, forests, and ice caves. Naturally, it's all filled to the brim with horrible monsters, wicked traps, treasures, and fabled magical weapons. As you go, you're constantly rewarded with new weaponry, new monsters to fight, and experience points you can put into your character stats to grow even more powerful. You can swap equipment in an inventory "paper doll" screen. Those changes are reflected in your onscreen character, so you'll start with simple weapons and a drab appearance, and you'll end up a big, mean superhero at the conclusion.
The graphics are simply wonderful, and the controls are accurate, responsive, and fun to use--which is necessary for the constant hacking and slashing required. The game is all the more fun when you recruit a buddy and play in cooperative mode. "--Bob Andrews"

Edition: Summary: ... Ballz was a very "different" game, if that's all you could call it. And at the same time pretty funny.
All of the characters were little colorful Ballz and good lord, they beat the stuff out of each other. One of the characters would fart on you and let's get it out there because of the time it was released, yes burp and fart jokes were the funniest thing on Earth.
Oddly enough, the replay value on this game was pretty high. Fights weren't as predictable as other fighting games and again, this game made you laugh. I have to admit, this was a hard game to smooth up to. After all, it's called Ballz.
But after you play, the game, get good at it, you start to realize that Ballz kicks ... I'll say it that there are definately better games out there but this was definately a worth buying game.<P...

This game is the best 2D shooter I have ever played and I've played a lot of 2D shooters you fly through the levels in the side scrolling format the first few levels will make experinced shooter fans yawn but the humorous talk with the bosses and allies will get you through however you be fighting for your life. You have 2 characters to choose from Riki and Mami Riki uses homing missile ammo to destroy his foes this can be great in a wide open area and Mami uses laser shots that ricochet of of everything and are quite deadly in inclosed spaces but fear not you don't have to choose which one you wanna be you can switch on the fly this helps make the combat more insane and the game better speaking of the insane gameplay you will fight hundreds of enemies all at once and only a good trigger finger and knowing how to use your firepower will get you through the harder levels in the game if your not careful within seconds you can get blasted also the later bosses are challenging very much so but it is so much fun dodging there onslaught of firepower all the while blasting them then moving in to fire about 400 missles at once to finish them. 400 missiles!!! you say?how is that possiable???? you say? well one great thing about Bangai-O is that the more foes you are blasting at one time or destroying enemy fire or if there is tons of enemy fire heading your way the higher the explosion meter goes once it gets to three hundread something you can unleash a huge attack to destroy your enemies thus proving yourself worthy of the robots full name Invincable Explosion Bangai-O of course you can do this attack without having to have a huge explosion meter but it is more effective when the meter is way up there but be careful you have a limited amount of times you can use that huge attack but you can earn more ammo for it by destroying things however some bosses also can do this some watch out don't be too cautious

Ok this is the games only flaw but it doesn't hold it back however if you crave good graphics look elsewhere these aren't that great to be honest because of the graphics I almost returned my copy of this game but by the time i got to the 3rd level i was having the time of my life this taught me graphics don't matter which is a lesson well learned for anyone

Ok those of you who have played this game must be saying wtf?? but while the story is impossable to figure out besides deafeating the SF Cosmo gang it is filled with tons of humor the only bad thing is that this makes things very confusing but you don't play a shooter game for its story do you but what i can tell you about the story is that Riki is a member of the peoples police on a planet called Dan Star one day he runs into a member of the SF Cosmo Gang who then proceeds to beat him up and tells him the SF Cosmo Gang is gonna take over Dan Star and there is nothing he can do about it Riki then returns home battered and brused and sees his house smashed up and his dad beat up and his sister emerges from hiding to tell him what happened then their father tells them of a robot he was developing Bangai-O so they take the robot and head out to defeat the SF Cosmo Gang it's a very complex story lol

This game has short but sometimes difficult stages and 44 stages in all however short they may seem it isn't everyone will find this game gets very difficult later on

You'll collect different parts by solving puzzles and exploring worlds. Edition: Summary: This was the best game ever for the Nintendo Entertainment System. You could play as one various computer teams, or create your own, which was the highlight of the game.
You could play a league with 2-6 teams of any combination of computer or human controlled teams. Each game you won awarded you with money, based on your players prestige. The money you won you spent on improving your players various skills.
The gameplay was also great. It had the traditional pitcher/batter matchup which was similar to RBI baseball, and a few others for the NES. You also completely controlled the fielders, there was nothing automatic about this game.
It's amazing that to this day, not one game have I seen that comes close to this in terms of replayability. It seems either games today spend too much time on the gameplay and graphics, but not enough on the extras (stats, team control, etc), but this game had it all. You had complete control of your players, and could improve them by winning, and at the same time the play of the game was the best on the market.
Hands down, this was the best game I ever played for the NES, and if you ever get the chance to experience it I highly recomend it. I spent the entire summer one year of high school in a friends basement doing nothing but playing this game. I experienced no sadder day than when the battery died.

Edition: Summary: This extremely challenging and pleasant NES game is sorta like Double Dragon or River City Ransom. The game has a somewhat 3-D enviroment rather than 2-D. In it, you must defeat bosses, dodge obstacles in a high speed speeder bike chase, and play with two players as well. The wierd weapons make it intriguing but I only give it four stars because you can't beat it in one sitting and it dosen't have any darn password or save system! I can never get passed level three! The challenge make it to die for, though. Even with no save system, it is awsome but I would really recomend River City Ransom...

Edition: Summary: Blaster Master: Enemy Below is as exciting as the original NES version with a couple of twists. There are newer weapons rather than just the grenade and gun weapons. For example, there is a gun upgrade that lets you shoot in a scatter shot instead of a straight shot. There is also geographical differences from the original version. Most of the scenes are different than the NES version but the music is the same. Some of the controls are hard, espically when you get into the water and ice levels. I gave it four stars instead of five because I expected the exact, or a close version of the NES original, like Super Mario Brothers for the GBC. It has its similar characters, locations, and even some level bosses. One of the benefits of this game is that it can save your progress, unlike the original version. If you are looking for a adventure game that has some challenges and puzzles, this may be the game for you. Have fun on you adventure, down below.
P.S. For those of you that played the Blaster Master Boy on the game boy, this is not the same type of game. You actually get to drive the truck known as the SOPHIA, and there is no bombs, other than grenades that can blow up the enemies.

The classic survival mode is supplemented with fun variations such as the Panel Paint Rule, in which players use explosions to "paint" the floor of the arena, and victory goes to the player who paints the largest area. The game only gets better when one to three other players join in. There's also an online mode for players with SegaNet accounts. Unfortunately, Sega now charges a monthly fee for its online service, and "Bomberman" simply isn't worth the subscription fee if it's the only Dreamcast game you plan to play online.
